Negative threats to the flora and fauna are farming, logging and mining and plant collectors collecting special plants and very rare flora. Deforestation is a major negative impact n the Amazon rainforest because it tears down thousands of trees. Rain forests on covered 14% on the Earth’s surface and now they only cover 6%. If deforestation does not stop within the next 40 years there will be no rain forests on Earth. Humans also have other negative effects on the fauna. These are people poaching and killing animals and selling them for money and this also means that if we keep killing and selling animals there wont be food left for the animals that eat other animals and unfortunately some of them will adapt to other types of food and some will die in hunger and become extinct
How to help save the rainforests
We could donate money and adopt animals to help save their kind and we should all team up and tell the world to stop hunting animals. The easiest way to save the rainforest is by using small amount of paper and wood and recycle old paper. There is another way but I haven't heard of it before but its is reducing your beef consumption because central American countries have cleared out two-thirds of the rainforest in part to raise cattle whose meat is exported to profit the U.S. food industry and in 1993 and 1994 U.S. imported over 200 million pounds of beef from these central American countries.
